After a loooooong and much needed break from the blog, I feel inspired again to share recipes with all of you! The past 5 months I have been experimenting a lot (as always) with my diet and still have not concluded somewhere…But along the way, I have had some interesting meal ideas and recipes… I have been eliminating processed oils and lowering my salt intake, making my food really, really simple as in throwing veggies together which I can’t even call recipes… But despite those changes, I still indulge in sweet treats and make more complex meals every once in a while and I want to share with you both. From now on, on Veggie Wedgie you will find simple as-not-even-recipes as well as more elaborate ones for special occasions!
This instant hot chocolate is inspired from the addictive hazenut-chocolate spread. Its perfect to make and give as a gift or to indulge in on rainy gloomy days…
Ingredients
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup hazelnut milk powder
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1 tsp ground vanilla bean
1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
In a large bowl, whisk all ingredients together and store in a glass jar. To serve, mix 3 tablespoons with one cup hot water. If you are making this for a gift its cool to go for the layered effect, adding a few tablespoons of each ingredient separately in the jar. Just make sure to let them know they have to whisk everything together before using the mix!
Stay warm…

Where do you find such a thing as hazelnut milk powder??
There are 2 european brands, Ecomil and Diemilk that make non dairy milks and non dairy powdered milks. They have a wide range of powdered milks made from nuts or grains. In Europe you can find them in most organic health food stores.
So happy to see you updating again!
Good to see you back!! Love everything that you do <3
